Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship

The Thirteenth Annual Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship will be held on the courthouse square in downtown Leitchfield, Grayson Co., Kentucky on July 20, 2024.  The competition awards over $14,500 in prices and features six age categories of Fiddling, Dancing, flatpick guitar, mandolin, and banjo. The total prizes over the six Fiddle categories is one of the largest in the US.

The fiddling divisions are certified by the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Contest and the National Oldtime Fiddlers’ Association (NOTFA).  Certifications were established to  insure that oldtime fiddling activities throughout the nation were being coordinated in a professional and positive manner. Division winners will have their pictures posted in the NOTFA Hall of Fame in Weiser, Idaho. Winners will be furnished with a special NOTFA Certificate of Award (suitable for framing) and given special recognition at events during the National Contest each June. In addition, Certified Winners are given a certified ribbon along with their contestant ribbon. Furthermore, they will be eligible to participate in the Certified Showcase Contest at National Contest.

The overall champion of all fiddle categories will be determined during the Championship Fiddle-Off.

In addition to fiddling, there will be many activities for the entire family such as rides and a street dance.  The square will host to vendors booths, children activities, a car show, and much more.
